Starting with the most magical trip I had dreamt of since I can remember✨?
Most importantly my final year with my favourite and it being a struggle ever since. ??
Grateful for family and friends who have helped me through and for managing to get a job back in retail in something new that I love.?❤️
No year will ever be the same .. keeping my fingers crossed for 2020 and knowing that my Millie will always be here with me.??
How does time go so fast, a lot can happen in 10 years. Beginning of the decade vs the end! Pretty sure I look exactly the same apart from longer hair and ironically probably looked older 10 years ago?♀️? here’s to the next decade!??
Last month I went to Disney On Ice for the first time since 2008! I used to go all the time when I was young and the last show I saw was High School Musical: The Ice Tour. I’ve actually looked at going to see recent productions however they haven’t came to the arena near me. So when I saw that 100 Years Of Magic was coming I knew I definitely wanted to go.
While the show was a month ago it is still touring around other cities in the country, so I don’t want to give away too many spoilers just in case!
15th June – a chunk of my heart broke that will never fix. 9 days later and I still can’t believe it. What am I going to do without you, I’ve had you for more of my life than not and the longest we’ve been apart was 18 days. I’ll never get a better present than you. I’m so lucky to have had you and you’ll always be a huge part of my life. Sweet dreams Millie, love you forever. ??
The post above was one of the hardest I’ve ever had to write and still doesn’t feel real.
It’s still the hardest time and I’m so heartbroken but I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone for their kind messages about Millie! It has really meant so much and we really appreciate it! She really was the best I could’ve ever wished for. ??
Over the summer we also visited one of our favourite places just our absolute favourite missing to celebrate Millie’s 14th birthday.
It will never be the same and it’s still just as hard as ever. Very thankful for family and friends, helping me with the last few months. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to not having you here but I know you’re with me forever ??❤️
I haven’t been on my blog over the past months for obvious reasons and I really couldn’t start my blog up again without a post for my Millie. So just wanted to write a little bit of what has been on my social media these past few months.
If you’ve ever been to Disney you know that snacks are a big deal and next level! There are so many to choose from we didn’t experience all of them but we did quite a few! Some of the classics and some people seem to overlook a bit. Just thought I would do a post of our favourites because why not dream about Disney shaped food lol.
Alice in Wonderland is one of my all time favourites and I have always loved it. So much so that my 18th birthday party was wonderland themed. So when I heard you could do a Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea I was there.
Afternoon Tea isn’t normally my sort of thing, considering I don’t drink tea or coffee lol, so I really had no idea what to expect but I was looking forward to all the sweet treats on offer.
The tea is at How Do You Do restaurant and at the time of me going there was a special offer on making it £21.95 for two people which was such good value!
Just thought I’d do a little post about seeing The Vamps in concert last week as it was an amazing show and they’re one of my favourite musicians to see live!
This was my 10th time seeing them and I’ve seen them at a range of venues and different sets, from arenas, festivals and summer shows.
I also had VIP Meet and Greet, which I had for the previous two arena tours and had such great experiences and this one didn’t disappoint either!
The show was amazing as always and seems to get better every time I see them! Already excited for the next time I see them again!
This post is a little different for me but thought why not. I feel like outfits are such a big part of a Disney trip and really can help make your trip extra special.
In particular character interactions can hugely be added to with themed outfits or accessories. This has happened to me a few times but one moment that really stand out would be our character breakfast at Ohana. I had a Lilo and Stitch T-shirt and Lilo loved it and spent extra time at our table.
Whilst our trip to Orlando was mainly based around/at Walt Disney World we also wanted to go to Universal Studios.
We bought the 14 day 3 park explorer ticket with our holiday package but with the way our plans and other factors such as times and weather we ended up only going to Universal Studios for 1 day. However we’re still glad to have had that ticket type as it gave us flexibility and good value.
Even though we only did 1 day we still had a great time and got all the major things we wanted done.
I think it’s definitely fair to say this year is the most excited I’ve been for all the amazing Disney films coming out. So I thought why not write what I thought about the film Dumbo, since it’s the first one of Disney’s to be released in 2019!
I was quite excited to see Dumbo because obviously it’s Disney and I love everything Disney. Saying this I haven’t actually seen the original animation Dumbo since I was younger as I have always found it so sad. Therefore I couldn’t really remember the full scene by scene of the film so was excited to rewatch it in live action.
We saw the film at Odeon at the Metrocentre and paid for premier seats so it was a more enjoyable cinema experience. We bought our tickets on the day at the ticket office and had one of the best customer service experiences that I have experienced at a cinema!
