I finally got one of my dream bags and it’s made me so happy! It might seem a bit random to ‘review’ a bag I haven’t actually used yet, but before buying I wanted to see and hear what other people thought of theirs and there wasn’t that many out there. So hopefully this could help someone out and if not you all now know how much I love my bag haha.
So for those who don’t know Dooney and Bourke are an American designer specialising in fine accessories. They are also really well known for their collaboration with Disney, they do regular collections, many of which are limited edition. You can only purchase the bags in the USA Parks or on the American shopDisney website.
So I have wanted a Dooney and Bourke bag for years! I love all the designs and styles so one of the reasons I haven’t purchased one until now is I wanted to make the right choice since it’s quite an expensive purchase! One collection that really stood out to me was the Disney Dogs collection which was released in early 2018. I was so indecisive between the styles and I was going to Disneyland Paris that year (twice) so decided to save my money for those trips.
Then when I went to Walt Disney World last year there were so many amazing bags but non I instantly saw and needed to get. So I added it to my purchase list for my next trip, but then a few weeks ago I saw on Twitter their new Disney Dogs collection had been launched and this time they’d mixed it with their iconic sketchbook collection! I instantly knew I wanted the cross body and decided to purchase it and get it shipped from the USA.
Every bag is completely unique in terms of actual pattern and placement, making it a true one of a kind! I did pay quite a bit for international shipping and customs but it arrived in less than 48 hours which is amazing, especially with current circumstances!

The bag is small in style but still plenty of room with multi compartments making it practical as well! Even though I haven’t used it yet it seems like a perfect bag and a really great size and style. I absolutely love it and can’t wait to use it when lockdown is over!
