Disney’s Newport Bay Club Hotel – Review

So many of you probably know from my blog and social media (sorry not sorry for overload!) that I had my first trip to Disneyland Paris this month. It was an amazing trip made even better by staying at the parks Newport Bay Club Hotel.

The hotel is the biggest onsite and is based around a New England and nautical theme. So while that’s is specific character or film theming it has hints of the iconic Steamboat Willie cartoon and obviously Donald Duck. All of the main classic characters are incorporated (will explain further down.)

As soon as we arrived we were in awe of how big and beautiful it looked, all white with blue roof. From the second of walking into the reception it felt as if you had stepped aboard a cruise ship. After a seamless check in we were allowed to leave our luggage until our room was ready and begin to explore.

Our room was just as amazing as we thought it would be. It was such a good size with more than enough room. Every detail was thought of from Mickey’s head on the headboard to Mickey heads made out of rope on the carpet and bed sheets .

The room included two double beds, a TV and huge set of drawers, a vanity dresser and mirror, full length mirror and a dressing area linked to the bathroom. We had also upgraded our room to a Lakeside view making it even more of a perfect room.

The hotel has two restaurants on the bottom level a table service restaurant, The Yacht Club and a buffet service restaurant Cape Cod. We ate at Cape Cod as this was an international cuisine menu as opposed to The Yacht Club’s seafood menu as this suited us better.

It was such a fantastic meal we got seated at a table with a view of the lake and had a great meal. The staff were so welcoming and the food was delicious, even better was we could take our time and didn’t feel rushed.

We also ended every night of our trip winding down in the hotels bar The Captains Quarters, which was on the same level as the reception. Again it has a nautical theme and very relaxed atmosphere which is very welcomed after a non stop day in the parks.

Other features of the hotel include an indoor and outdoor pool, a concierge, the opportunity to meet characters and the Bay boutique gift shop.

As you can probably tell by now we had an amazing trip and stay at Newport Bay and were sad to be leaving. It is safe to say we definitely hope to stay here again in the future and would highly recommend it!
