PhotoPass+ at Disneyland Paris

So this is something I looked into quite a bit before my first trip to Disneyland Paris. I’m someone who loves photos and especially like to grab them as souvenirs of a great trip. So it was definitely something I wanted to look at getting but wanted to make sure it value for money. It definitely is! I wouldn’t do a DLP trip without as it has so many benefits!

You can buy your PhotoPass+ at a variety of locations in both parks and at gift shops in resort hotels. The price is currently €69.99 and the pass is valid for 10 days after 1st use.

PhotoPass+ lets you save all professional photos took in the park from rides with an attraction photo, photographers with characters and sometimes on special occasions photographers at specific locations.

You get a pack which included 1 main card and 2 mini cards which you use to register to your account via the PhotoPass app or website. These are then what you use to scan at a photography booth after a ride or give to a photographer. You can view and download your photos from your account and they are valid for 1 year after use. The website also gives you the option to order personalised gifts using your photos for an additional cost.

While the price may seem expensive for photos when comparing to the price of one printed photo is approximately between €10 and €15. When looking at this and considering there is no limit on the amount of photos you can have on your account, by the time you do 4/5 photos it’s earned the money back!

The photos are great quality and fun memories as you can get ones you wouldn’t normally, for example on the drop on Tower of Terror. With you being able to load all of your photos it also means you don’t have to pick the ‘best’ one to buy and can have them all!

Over my 2 trips which have both been 4 days I’ve got over 300 photos it’s great to look back at all the memories.

You can view and download your photos on your account for 360 days after first use of the PhotoPass before they expire.

It is handy to know you can also get a temporary PhotoPass to see if you have used it during your trip and want your photos in which case you can purchase it at the end.

I honestly wouldn’t do a trip without it and would highly recommend!
