Quick Service Dining Plan at Walt Disney World

I think it’s pretty obvious from my previous posts how much I love a Disney Dining Plan and couldn’t imagine a Disney trip without one. This was another thing that was exciting when planning my trip back to Walt Disney World as I couldn’t wait to see what was on offer.

We were lucky that the deal at the time of booking the dining plan was free and as we were staying at a moderate resort (Port Orleans Resort – Riverside) it meant we got the Quick Service Plan.

On a quick service dining plan you get, 2 quick service meals, 2 snacks and 1 non-alcoholic/alcoholic drink (21+ for alcoholic beverages) with every meal per person per day. There is a good range of options for quick service meals, snacks and drinks so you never feel restricted.

We absolutely loved using our dining plan throughout our holiday and it couldn’t of made the trip easier. They are so many benefits including being able to just scan your magic band rather than worrying about money.

Even though we had a dining plan as this was a special trip we still chose to eat and pay for (not included in the dining plan) at a selection of table service restaurants. We found the portions of quick service meals to be more than enough that we easily could of just ate at restaurants included in the plan.

The quality of quick service food at Walt Disney World is fantastic. It is as great food, with plenty of choices and at a really reasonable price.

We ended up having loads of credits left at the end of our trip however they didn’t go to waste. You can also use your snack credits to buy a range of sweets and rice crispy treats which works out for example as a rice crispy mickey treat = 1 snack credit. You can also convert left over quick service meal credits which are the equivalent to 3 snack credits per 1 quick service meal. It’s a great way to buy snacks to bring home to enjoy and makes sure you really do get the most of your dining plan.

It really made such a difference to our trip and would struggle to do a Disney trip without one!
