I have been meaning to write a little post about this for a few weeks now, I finally got round to it and it happens to be on the same day as the 3 year anniversary of the first Kissing Booth film being released on Netflix.
It has also recently been the 10 year anniversary of author Beth Reekles writing and posting The Kissing Booth on Wattpad. In celebration of this she announced she was releasing the kissing booth scene between Elle and Noah from Noah’s perspective as a ‘one shot’ story.
I was so excited to hear that there was going to be another new even if small snippet from TKB story universe. I highly recommend everyone to take a read! It is a short read but well worth it, it’s great to see more of Noah’s deeper character development and while it would be amazing for a full novel from his perspective (which Beth has said isn’t in the works sadly but understandably with all her other great books in the works!) it gives an interesting viewpoint where you can imagine more how he sees the events that take place throughout all the books.
I was absolutely gripped reading it and what I love about these books which I mentioned in my review of the full book series last year is that it is like no series I have read before. As mentioned it’s the first series I have read that has short stories that take place within the events of the full novels and now has a short snippet read of a scene from another character’s perspective.
It’s also really exciting that the release date of The Kissing Booth 3 movie and book which is titled The Kissing Booth 3: One Last Time are both set to be released on August 11th. It’s bittersweet knowing this is the end of the series but I can’t wait to see how it all comes together!
