Quick Service Dining Plan at Walt Disney World

I think it’s pretty obvious from my previous posts how much I love a Disney Dining Plan and couldn’t imagine a Disney trip without one. This was another thing that was exciting when planning my trip back to Walt Disney World as I couldn’t wait to see what was on offer.

We were lucky that the deal at the time of booking the dining plan was free and as we were staying at a moderate resort (Port Orleans Resort – Riverside) it meant we got the Quick Service Plan.

Epcot International Festival of the Arts

I had heard quite a bit about Epcot’s very popular seasons before our trip, most commonly Flower and Garden which runs March-June and Food and Wine which runs September-November. However when looking into our trip I realised we would be visiting when the Festival of the Arts would be on as it runs January-March.

That’s the reason behind doing this post as I hadn’t heard of this particular Epcot season and we absolutely loved it.

Keys to the Kingdom Tour Walt Disney World

This post is going to be an overview of the tour in terms of what the day was like and our experience of it. I’m not going to go into detail about the specifics of the whole thing or tell any of the facts we learnt as there were so many and I don’t want to spoil the tour.

We definitely knew we wanted to do this after hearing you get to go under Magic Kingdom and see behind the scenes! We booked by ringing Walt Disney World in advance of our trip. The cost is $99 per person for the 5 hour walking tour. I can’t express how good value for money this was I highly recommend.

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside

For our trip to Walt Disney World one of our first decisions was where we wanted to stay. I knew we definitely wanted to stay on property, because of all the benefits mentioned in my top tips post, and I stayed on property on my first trip in 2000. I stayed at Disney’s Beach Club Resort then so I thought it would be fun to stay somewhere else as all of the resorts are amazing.

From the beginning when looking through brochures and online one jumped out straight away. Port Orleans Resort – Riverside (POR) looked perfect for the trip we were planning. There are 3 levels of resorts at Disney, Value, Moderate and Deluxe. POR is a moderate resort so was nice to have a bit more luxury but still within our budget.

Walt Disney World 2019 Trip Report

I decided to do a little trip report of my Walt Disney World trip as I thought it would be the best way to sum up all of the amazing things we did. Some things I will go into in more detail in separate upcoming posts, otherwise we’d be here all day.

So basically it’s just a little overview of what we did and how we found things.

Radisson Blu at Manchester Airport

So thought I’d just write a little piece on our one night stay at the Radisson Blu at Manchester Airport before our flight to Orlando.

We have stayed in this hotel in the past when flying from Manchester Airport and had great experiences but they were over 10 years ago so it was nice to stay again and see what it was like now.

Walt Disney World…Booked!✔️

Since I’ve done a few Disney blogs I thought I would carry on with this theme … that and I’m too excited not to share!

As many will know and read in previous posts I have been lucky enough to visit Disneyland Paris twice last year! I’ve also mentioned how I have been to Walt Disney World in Florida, USA when I was 3 and while I know it was an amazing trip also I really can’t remember everything and there were lots of things I couldn’t do. So with that being said I can officially say I am going back to Walt Disney World!!

My trip next week has come round so quick. This is another girls trip with my mam and will be another special one as it’s our first time going together, I haven’t been since 2000 and my Mam since 1980!

So there is going to be a lot more Disney related posts in the future..again I’m no expert but so far in the planning stages I’ve found vlogs and blogs super helpful. So hopefully sharing some tips can help some of you too. And let’s be honest it’s just great to always chat about Disney isn’t it … I mean it’s literally the Happiest Place On Earth!!

This was just a bit of a quick update in terms of what I’m up to and posts for the future so stay tuned for more Disney content!

Disneyland Paris Quick Service Restaurants – #1

Since I’ve wrote a few posts about restaurants in Disneyland Paris that are are table service or buffet, I thought it would also be beneficial to write a little on the quick service restaurants.

Since these are similar to a fast food service there isn’t as much to say in detail about so I thought I’d do a post on all the ones I’ve tried.

I want to add as a whole that while it is more of a fast food style compared to sit down meal, the standard is definitely just as high. The food is really good quality, not necessarily the type of food you would expect when hearing fast food. Also what we have found is you can get such great meal options we shared 1 as it was so filling.

Plaza Gardens Character Breakfast – Disney Dining Series

To add to my Disney Dining Series I decided to review my experience of having a character breakfast at the Plaza Gardens restaurant at Disneyland Paris. It’s always good to know a bit more about these especially at Disney, so you can decide if it’s something you want to include in a trip. I know a looked up a lot of reviews to help make my decisions when booking.

Due to having an amazing time at a character dining on my previous trip I knew I definitely wanted to do another one but something different. That’s when we decided to give a character breakfast a go as we really wanted to eat at Plaza Gardens restaurant as well as meeting characters.
